How I work: The translation process comprises several stages: preparation (text analysis and research), writing in the target language, revision, proofreading and delivery. Often, the process also involves the client – I will turn to you if I need more context, an explanation, or to check details.

How I work: Computer-aided translation tools are not to be confused with machine translation services such as Google Translate. CAT software provides a comfortable translation environment in which to write. The software ensures quality control and constitutes glossaries and translation memories, particularly useful for updates of previously translated documents.
